Keeneland's April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET April 26, closing day of the spring meet. A total of 134 horses are in the catalog, including these two 2-year-olds in the latest round of supplements: Kiss Cam, a 2-year-old daughter of Mastery who was second in her April 18 debut at Keeneland. Out of the winning Pulpit mare Kinsley, she is from the family of grade 2 winner Twilight Time and stakes winner and grade 2-placed Thundering Sky. Kiss Cam is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Vodka With a Twist, a 2-year-old filly by Thousand Words who was fourth, beaten two lengths, in her April 24 debut at Keeneland after a difficult beginning. Out of Bourbon and a Kiss, by Sky Mesa, she is from the family of grade 1 winner Mayo On the Side and grade 2 winner Midcourt. Ballysax Bloodstock, agent, consigns Vodka With a Twist from Barn 19. Last year's sale topper was a 2-year-old. Commissioner Dan, a colt by Commissioner consigned by Matejka Racing, sold for $500,000 to Pedro Lanz, agent for King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Sons' KAS Stables. He was sold just four days after his maiden victory at Keeneland. In total, the 2023 single-session sale sold 69 horses for $6,993,000, a 31% increase from the $5,349,000 in 2022 when 58 horses sold.
