Taylor Made Stallions' freshman sire Mshawish, a multiple grade 1 winner by Medaglia d'Oro , had his first winner when Miss Wild posted a dominating 15-length victory Aug. 9 at Monmouth Park in her debut.

Trained by Benjamin Perkins Jr., Miss Wild broke smartly in the six-furlong maiden claiming race for 2-year-old fillies and scampered clear of her rivals downs the backstretch. Never threatened, she stretched her advantage to nine lengths in the lane and rolled to an eye-catching score under Tomas Mejia.

A homebred for New Farm, Miss Wild was bred in Kentucky and is the second foal out of the winning Wildcat Heir mare Proud to Be Wild.

Mshawish, a grade 1 winner on dirt and turf, captured seven stakes in his racing career. He earned a 106 Beyer in a decisive win in the 2016 Donn Handicap (G1) in his third start on the dirt and won the 2015 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap (G1T).

He also won the Zabeel Mile Sponsored by Al Naboodah MEP & Engineering Group (G2) at Meydan; the Fort Lauderdale Stakes (G2T), Hal's Hope Stakes (G3), and El Prado Stakes at Gulfstream Park; and the Prix de Tourgeville Stakes at Deauville. He placed third in the Dubai Turf Sponsored by DP World (G1).

Mshawish retired with eight wins from 24 starts and earnings of $2,421,351. He is out of the Thunder Gulch mare Thunder Bayou and hails from the immediate family of champion Halfbridled and multiple graded stakes-winning millionaire Lu Ravi. In 2020, he stood for a fee of $10,000.
