Country Life Farm's freshman sire Mosler was represented by his first stakes winner when his Maryland-bred daughter Miss Nondescript remained unbeaten winning the $100,000 Maryland Million Lassie Stakes at Laurel on October 24.
One of five winners to date for the War Front first-year sire Mosler, 2-for-2 Miss Nondescript is a homebred for Charles Parker's Barak Farm.  She is trained by Mike Trombetta.
Mosler was bred by Seth Hancock's Cherry Valley Farm, and sold to Adele Dilschneider for $1,050,000 at the 2014 Keeneland September yearling sale. Trained by Bill Mott, he won three of his first six races on the main track, then switched to grass to capture the $100,000 Elusive Quality Stakes at Belmont Park and the $100,000 Laurel Dash. He earned $341,396 in five wins before being entering stud at Country Life for the 2017 breeding season. He has 74 2-year-olds in his first crop.
Mosler is a half-brother to two-time Grade One-winner Contested and to graded-stakes-placed Air Vice Marshal. He stood for a fee of $4,000 in 2020.
