Known Agenda, Rock Your World Breeze Following KY Derby

Thousands of miles apart, Known Agenda and Rock Your World, two grade 1-winning 3-year-olds that were outrun in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) at Churchill Downs, recorded their first breezes since the May 1 classic. Working at Belmont Park for trainer Todd Pletcher, St. Elias Stable's Known Agenda, ninth in the Derby, went a half-mile in :48.87, while at Santa Anita Park, Hronis Racing and David Michael Talla's Rock Your World covered five furlongs for trainer John Sadler in 1:01 after his poor-starting race in the Derby that led to a 17th-place finish. Both horses are under consideration for the 1 1/2-mile Belmont Stakes (G1) June 5. Earlier this spring, Known Agenda captured the Curlin Florida Derby Presented by Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa (G1) at Gulfstream Park March 27, a week before Rock Your World led throughout over Medina Spirit in the Runhappy Santa Anita Derby (G1) April 3. Pletcher, a three-time Belmont winner, also breezed Calumet Farm's Bourbonic a half-mile Friday in :48.08. The late-running Bernardini colt upset the Wood Memorial Stakes Presented by Resorts World Casino (G2) at Aqueduct Racetrack last month before running 13th in the Derby. More potential Belmont prospects are scheduled to work across the country May 15, including Hot Rod Charlie, the Derby's third-place finisher. He is "doing super," trainer Doug O'Neill said.
