M3 Racing Stable's Show'em Who's Boss broke her maiden at first asking June 16 at Delaware Park to become the first starter and first winner for her freshman sire Holy Boss  in North America. Holy Boss has previously sired two winners in Argentina.

Show'em Who's Boss, trained by Andrew Simoff and the favorite in the five-furlong maiden claiming race, was bumped at the break and raced five wide but took command after the five-sixteenths pole and opened up to win by 5 1/2 lengths.

Show'em Who's Boss was bred in Maryland by Lady Olivia at Northcliff and becomes the sixth winner from seven of racing age out of the Tapit daughter White Eye Julia I.

"There's been a lot of buzz about Holy Boss the last few months once his kids started making their way to the tracks, and I hope this proves rightfully so," said Grace Merryman of Anchor & Hope Farm, where Holy Boss stands for $1,000. "He has one of the best syndicates. They are great people who supported him in his first years to help get to this point. To be able to have his first starter be his first winner is exactly what they deserve."

Holy Boss broke his maiden by 10 1/4 lengths at 2 and went on at 3 to string together three straight black-type stakes wins—the Bachelor Stakes at Oaklawn Park, the Chick Lang Stakes at Pimlico Race Course, and the Amsterdam Stakes (G2) at Saratoga Race Course. Holy Boss would also finish third in the NYRA.com King's Bishop Stakes (G1). At 4, Holy Boss placed in three graded stakes, which included a second in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1).
