Korea Racing Authority's Knicks Go kept his No. 1 rating in the National Thoroughbred Racing Association Top Thoroughbred Poll for the fifth straight week, while Max Player catapulted from 16th into the top 10 off an impressive score in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) at Saratoga Race Course over the Labor Day weekend.
Knicks Go received 19 first-place votes and 323 points. A winner three times in five starts this year, he has captured the Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1), Prairie Meadows Cornhusker Handicap (G3), and Whitney Stakes (G1).
George Hall and SportBLX Thoroughbreds' Max Player, who earlier this year captured the Suburban Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park, moved into sixth place with 135 points off his strong performance in the Jockey Club Gold Cup.
