Firenze Fire will begin his stud career for the 2022 breeding season at Arrow Stud on Japan's Hokkaido Island for a fee of ¥1.5 million, the farm announced.

The son of Poseidon's Warrior  won nine graded stakes, including the 2017 Champagne Stakes (G1), in addition to finishing second in this year's Forego Stakes (G1), in which he tried to savage winner Yaupon  in the homestretch. Firenze Fire earned $2,730,350 during his five-year race career, during which he accomplished a 14-7-3 record from 38 starts for Mr. Amore Stable.

Danon Premium, another new stallion at Arrow Stud for 2022, will stand for ¥1.2 million. Bred by K.I.Farm and trained by Mitsumasa Nakauchida, the son of Deep Impact won five graded stakes in Japan, including the Asahi Hai Futurity (G1), and was named Japan's 2017 champion juvenile colt for Masahiro Noda of Danox.

The 2022 fee of California Chrome , who was relocated from Taylor Made Stallions in Kentucky to Arrow Stud in 2020, is unchanged and the 2014 and 2016 U.S. Horse of the Year will stand for ¥4 million. California Chrome has been popular with Japanese breeders, covering 143 mares in 2020 and 154 mares in 2021.

Shanghai Bobby, who was introduced at Arrow Stud in 2019 and whose first Japanese crop becomes 2-year-olds in 2022, will stand for ¥2 million next season, the same fee as in 2021 when he covered 100 mares.
