Gun Runner Filly Supplemented to Keeneland September

Keeneland has announced that a filly by Gun Runner consigned by Lane's End, agent, has been supplemented to the Keeneland September Yearling Sale and is scheduled to sell Sept. 13—the second day of Book 1. A full sister to stakes winner and graded stakes-placed Abraham, Complex Analysis also is a half sister to grade 1-placed winner Beat the Benchmark. Bred in Kentucky by LBD Stable, the Gun Runner filly is from the family of David Ingordo's Tulane Tryst, runner-up in the March 19 Whitmore Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn Park and second last out in the May 4 St. Matthews Overnight Stakes at Churchill Downs for trainer Cherie DeVaux, as well as multiple graded stakes winner and grade 1-placed Miss Isella, grade 2 winner Sir Cherokee, and stakes winners Supreme Aura and Guam Typhoon. Three Chimneys' Gun Runner is the leading second-crop sire by progeny earnings with more than $7.6 million through Aug. 10, and ranks third on the North American yearling sales scene by gross ($6,065,000) and average ($673,889) with nine sold from 10 offered. A total of 4,148 horses have been cataloged to the September Sale, which covers 12 sessions from Sept. 12-24.
