Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 59 horses of racing age entries for its upcoming California Fall Yearlings and Horses of Racing Age Sale.
These entries, which are cataloged as hips 301-359, will be sold immediately following the conclusion of the yearling portion of the catalog. They include several stakes performers, unraced 2-year-olds with recent public works, 3-year-olds, and older horses with current form.
"There's a lot of quality among the horses of racing age entries, and the timing works well for those looking to add to their stables as Santa Anita's Fall meet begins," said Fasig-Tipton California representative Mike Machowsky. "Last year's horses of racing age supplement produced two stakes winners, including Ceiling Crusher, now a multiple stakes winner, including the Torrey Pines Stakes (G3) a couple of weeks ago."
These entries may now be viewed online, including Daily Racing Form past performances, Ragozin sheets, and race replays for all horses that have started. Print catalogs for the horses of racing age supplement will be available on the sales grounds.
There are 283 previously announced entries for the Yearling Sale.
“This sale is the focal point for all those wanting to participate in the lucrative California-bred program, and this year’s catalogue is strong in both quantity and quality,” Machowsky said.
The California Fall Yearlings and Horses of Racing Age Sale will take place Sept. 26, at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. The sale will begin at 11 a.m. PT.
