Tattersalls Online Breeze-Up Sale Catalog Released
A Mohaather (GB) colt out of a half sister to 2019 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) heroine Belvoir Bay (GB) is among the highlights of the 33 horses entered for the Tattersalls Online Breeze-Up Sale, the catalog for which has just been released. The third renewal of Europe's only online breeze-up sale will form a major part of Tattersalls Online's June auction, scheduled to run June 4-5 with the breezes taking place May 28 at Dundalk Racecourse. Bushypark Stables offers Lot 11, the Mohaather half brother to two winners out of Grand Depart, a Royal Applause half sister to Belvoir Bay, who is by Royal Applause's group 1-winning grandson Equiano (FR). From Ballycullen Stables comes an Ardad (IRE) filly (21) out of listed Premio Eupili winner Maremmadiavola (IRE) who has produced two winners and is a Kheleyf half sister to the dam of recent Prix Texanita (G3) winner Woodshauna (FR). MC Thoroughbreds consigns a Maclean's Music half sister to the stakes-placed Miss Betty (29) and their dam, Table Three Ten, is a stakes-placed daughter of El Prado out of a mare by More Than Ready. The filly was bred in Kentucky by Ballyfair Farm. A Cotai Glory (GB) half sister to the Goldene Peitsche (G2) Big Boots (10) is part of the Kildallan Farms' draft and the chestnut, who is a half sister to two winners, comes from the Aga Khan family of group 1 winners and half sisters Tarnawa (IRE) and Tahiyra (IRE). A total of 27 different breeze-up consignors are responsible for the 33 horses entered with leading lights such as Ardglas Stables, Bushypark Stables, Hyde Park Stud, Kilbrew Stables, and Meadowview Stables among those represented. Exciting Tally-Ho Stud first-season sire Starman (GB), responsible for group 3 winner Lady Iman (IRE), is a standout name in the sires' list along with fellow first-season sires A'Ali (IRE), Nando Parrado (GB), Supremacy (IRE), and Ubettabelieveit (IRE). Young sires like Ardad, Kameko, Mohaather, and Without Parole (GB) are also represented in the sale with established names such as Starspangledbanner (AUS) and Maclean's Music demonstrated the global nature of the catalog. All lots will be available for inspection at Dundalk May 28 and prospective purchasers can also make arrangements with vendors to view the horses prior to the auction. Wildcard entries for both the breeze-up section and the June Online Sale in general can be made until May 23. Further information about the sale is available from Katherine Sheridan or Ross Birkett of Tattersalls Online, and the catalog for the breeze-up section is available to view here.
