Strada Del Sogno Tops F-T June Digital Sale at $150,000
The June Digital Sale closed June 3 with 53 horses sold for $1,401,500. The sale averaged $24,587 with a clearance rate of 78%, and a median of $12,000. The catalog offered horses of racing age, racing/broodmare prospects, 2-year-olds in training, broodmares (including mares with foals at foot), and yearlings. Stakes-placed 2-year-old Strada Del Sogno (Hip 2) topped the sale when sold for $150,000 to Elkin Family Racing from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. The Kentucky-bred daughter of Street Boss was offered as a horse of racing age from her location at Gulfstream Park, where she debuted with a third-place finish in the Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies Stakes May 10, a qualifier for the Royal Ascot meeting. The first foal out of Line Up, a Violence half sister to graded stakes placed Cover Version, Strada Del Sogno hails from the immediate family of champion filly Questing (GB). Top hips sold also included: • Landing Craft (Hip 9), a 3-year-old colt by Omaha Beach, sold for $130,000 to Lucky Hat Racing from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Landing Craft is a winner this year. • Zandvoort (Hip 52), a 3-year-old colt by Good Magic, sold for $105,000 to Abubaker Kadoura from the consignment of Steve Asmussen, agent. The colt broke his maiden impressively shortly after the sale went live May 29, winning by seven lengths at Horseshoe Indianapolis. • Binksy (Hip 4), in foal to Mandaloun for 2026, sold for $100,000 to LC Racing from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Binsky is a young Curlin half sister to stakes winner and 2019 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2T) placed Another Miracle. • Akayla (IRE) (Hip 3), in foal to Yaupon for 2026, sold for $90,000 to Stella from the consignment of Indian Creek, agent. The young Kingman (GB) mare hails from the family of grade 1-winning multi-millionaire and young sire Zandon. "The top three sold were all horses of racing age, marking the shift from breeding season to racehorses and racing prospects," said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton's director of digital sales. "It's already been an exciting year in 2025 with six sales on the books and more than 575 head sold so far. The momentum is strong, and the season is just getting started."
