Louisiana stallion and grade 1 winner No Parole  sired his first winner June 7 when the filly High Class Trip broke her maiden in a state-bred maiden special weight contest at Evangeline Downs.

Breaking from the outer 9 post in her debut, High Class Trip was hustled to the lead and never looked back, powering to the wire on top by 2 1/2 lengths. Trained by Allen Landry, the 2-year-old completed the 4 1/2 furlongs in a final time of :53.45 on a fast main track.

Bred in Louisiana by Coteau Grove Farms, the breeders of her sire, High Class Trip was produced from the unraced Trippi mare Cut Class Trip. Sent through the ring at this year's Texas Thoroughbred Association 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, High Class Trip was purchased by owner Hat Racing for $32,000 from the Asmussen Horse Center consignment.

First-crop sire No Parole, also bred in Louisiana, scored his biggest career victory when capturing the 2020 Woody Stephens Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park. The son of Violence  would retire with six wins from 13 starts and $369,866 in earnings. No Parole entered stud at Whispering Oaks Farm near Carencro, La., in 2021. He stood the 2025 breeding season for a fee of $3,000.
