Coolmore announced Irish One Thousand Guineas (G1) winner Lake Victoria will not run at Royal Ascot next week.
Lake Victoria had been a warm favorite for the Coronation Stakes (G1) at the royal meeting at a general 5-6, but the daughter of Frankel was a notable drifter out to 6-1 heading into lunchtime June 9.
In a post on X, Coolmore said: "Lake Victoria will not run at Royal Ascot. She will have an easy few weeks and will return for a late summer/autumn campaign."
Lake Victoria won all five of her starts as a 2-year-old last year, three of which came at the top level including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T), but she suffered a first defeat when a disappointing sixth of 10 on her seasonal reappearance in the One Thousand Guineas at Newmarket last month.
However, she returned to her brilliant best in the Irish equivalent later that month when defeating California Dreamer by 2 1/4 lengths.
Zarigana, who was promoted to first in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (G1) after interference caused by Shes Perfect, is now an even-money favorite with bet365.
Coolmore also confirmed Espom Oaks (G1) winner Minnie Hauk would be aimed at the Irish Oaks (G1) July 19 next, while Epsom runner-up Whirl will target the Pretty Polly Stakes (G1) June 28.
