A total of nine wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls July Sale that runs July 8-10, and the cohort is headed by Criterium de Saint-Cloud (G1) runner-up Green Storm.
Last seen finishing a fast-closing fifth in the King Edward VII Stakes (G2) at Royal Ascot, the 3-year-old is by Circus Maximus and out of the multiple group-winning mare Banimpire. He will be offered on behalf of owner Ahmad Al Shaikh by Charlie Johnston's Kingsley Park (Lot 583E) with an official British Horseracing Authority rating of 106.
The same owner's Green Team Racing will also offer the promising 3-year-old Al Shababi (583D). Consigned by Owen Burrows, the Without Parole colt broke his maiden impressively on his third start in April and will be offered with an official BHA rating of 84.
They will be joined by a third smart 3-year-old colt in Matauri Bay, who has an official BHA rating of 101 and will be consigned by Imperium Sales (583C). The son of Lope de Vega was runner-up behind subsequent Irish Two Thousand Guineas (G1) and St James's Palace Stakes (G1) winner Field of Gold in last year's Solario Stakes (G3).
Jamie Railton will consign two progressive 4-year-olds in the 92-rated Small Fry (583B) a wide-margin winner of a competitive class 2 handicap at Epsom Racecourse on Derby day for Gary and Josh Moore, and the consistent Fahrenheit Seven (583A), a winner or placed in 10 of his 12 lifetime starts for Mark Usher. He has an official rating of 93.
The late additions also include several fillies with smart form, including promising 2-year-old Luminare (243A), who broke her maiden at her most recent start earning her a rating of 75. The daughter of Dark Angel is a half sister to group 3-winning filly Raqiya from the excellent Shadwell family of 1995 European champion Bahri and will be offered by the Castlebridge Consignment.
Barton Sales will offer the Dubawi filly Beauty Beyond (243D) on behalf of Gainsborough Thoroughbreds, and James Tate's Jamesfield Stables will offer 91-rated Too Darn Hot filly Ahlain (243C), as lot as well as the 92-rated Smart Hero (243B), a dual winner in 2025.
