Beautifully bred broodmares in foal to sires such as St Mark's Basilica, Kingman , Auguste Rodin, and Blue Point feature among the entries for Jean-Pierre Dubois' private sale next month.
The landmark auction will be hosted by Auctav Aug. 13 at Haras de Bois Roussel and will also feature National Hunt-bred foals by Nirvana Du Berlais, as well as already-raced 2-year-olds.
Standout lots include black-type producer Frisella (Lot 15), a daughter of Frankel from the family of Kingman, Zenda, and this year's Epsom Oaks (G1) heroine Minnie Hauk in foal to Blue Point; Peligrosa (16), an Acclamation half sister to group 2 winner and group 1-placed Purplepay; and In Fall (37), a daughter of Le Havre from the family of New Bay, who will be offered in foal to Chaldean. The catalog also features Salerne (39), a half sister to 2023 Prix du Moulin (G1) winner Sauterne in foal to Auguste Rodin.
Also among the offering is Sofia (41), a Kingman sister to last year's Prix de Diane (G1) heroine Sparkling Plenty and in foal to Starspangledbanner; dual listed winner Blue Wings (42) who is carrying to Ace Impact; Pentaiade (43), another half sister to Purplepay, who is in foal to St Mark's Basilica; plus Helenium (50), a Frankel half sister to Calyx, who will be offered in foal to Kingman.
