High-class racemare Olentia, by Zoustar, will be among the star attractions at the Magic Millions August Virtual Sale Aug. 5.
Most recently third in the Tattersalls Tiara (G1) June 28 at Eagle Farm Racecourse, Olentia retires a three-time stakes winner in Sydney with almost AU$1 million in prize money earned.
The Star Thoroughbreds-owned rising 6-year-old claimed the 2024 Emancipation Stakes (G2), 2024 Nivison Stakes (G3), and 2023 James HB Carr Stakes (G3), and has defeated elite performers like Amelia's Jewel, Manaal, Zougotcha, Fireburn, and Magic Time.
"She is a good, tough, sound and strong mare," Olentia's trainer, Chris Waller, said. "She's a great type—from conformation through to size and strength. She has a great temperament, great color, and has always been a healthy mare. She was an exciting racehorse who performed on all track surfaces.
"By a great stallion with a good pedigree—she's the type we all go to the sales for, regardless of what the progeny is by, and buy the yearlings out of these mares."
An AU$310,000 Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase in 2021, Olentia is one of eight winners from as many to race out of Mabkhara, a twice-winning Anabaa mare who has also produced stakes winners Wandabaa and Malkovich.
