Full or half siblings to the likes of classic/group 1 stars Jan Brueghel, Desert Crown, and Emily Upjohn are featured in a quality packed Goffs Orby Book 1 catalog this autumn.

Among the standout lots are a Mehmas half sister to Criterium de Saint-Cloud (G1) winner Dubai Mile (Lot 43); a Frankel  half brother to 2022 Epsom Derby (G1) hero Desert Crown (96); a Wootton Bassett half sister to 2024 St Leger (G1) and Coronation Cup (G1) victor Jan Brueghel and 2019 Irish Derby (G1) winner Sovereign (99); a New Bay sister to multiple group 1 winner Saffron Beach (130); and a Wootton Bassett half sister to Hampton Court Stakes (G3) scorer Trinity College out of dual Guineas winner Hermosa (168).

Graduates of the sale to have shone on the track this year are headlined by dual Oaks heroine Minnie Hauk—a €1.85 million sale topper in 2023—while Ribblesdale Stakes (G2) winner Garden of Eden led an Orby double at Royal Ascot alongside the exciting Merchant in the non-black-type King George V Stakes.

Another star performer to have sold from the sale is Excellent Truth, who landed the Diana Stakes (G1T) at Saratoga Race Course July 12 for Chad Brown and Resolute Racing. Two-year-old talent from the sale includes Green Sense, a winner of the July 20 Prix Robert Papin (G2) at Chantilly.

Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby said: "Classic glory, Royal Ascot winners, U.S. grade 1 success, group-winning juveniles ... if the performances by our graduates throughout 2025 is a measure of Orby quality, this is a catalog that cannot be missed and that quality is testament to the wonderful support of so many leading producers.

"Following client feedback, we placed a deliberate emphasis on quality over quantity throughout the Orby inspection process, resulting in a catalog that, while more selective in size, is even richer in depth and quality so guaranteeing buyers the impeccably high standard for which this sale is renowned.

"Many of Ireland's best yearlings will be on offer at Orby Book 1, while we are pleased to welcome several UK vendors, including Highclere and Barton Stud, who will bring drafts to Orby for the first time. Our client relations team and international agents were out earlier than ever this year, traveling the world to secure major clients for our Orby yearlings, and we look forward to welcoming a stellar cast of buyers to Kildare Paddocks in two months time to compete for this top-class catalog.

"That Orby is a world-class sale has never been in doubt and we are excited to present another superb selection of elite yearlings to the world."

Buyers will once again benefit from prize money of €2 million in next year's Goffs Two Million Series which includes Europe's richest 2-year-old race, the €1 million Goffs Million, as well as €1 million in €50,000 bonuses awarded to winners of designated juvenile races across Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Book 1 will take place at 10 a.m. local time from Sept. 29-30, while the catalog for Book 2, which will be held from Oct. 1-2, will be published July 28.
