Fasig-Tipton Catalogs 266 for CA Fall Yearling Sale

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 266 entries for its California Fall Yearlings Sale, to be held Sept. 23, at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. The sale will begin at 11 am PDT. "This sale annually offers the cream of the California-bred crop," said Fasig-Tipton California representative Mike Machowsky. "There is a strong representation from both leading California and nationally-ranked sires, as well as good depth of pedigree on offer." Sires represented by yearlings in this year's catalog include Army Mule, Authentic, Clubhouse Ride, Corniche, Cyberknife, Drain the Clock, Early Voting, Good Magic, Grazen, Hard Spun, Justify, Knicks Go, Liam's Map, Maxfield, Maximus Mischief, McKinzie, Nashville, Olympiad, Omaha Beach, Oscar Performance, Practical Joke, Sir Prancealot (IRE), Stay Thirsty, Tiz the Law, and Vekoma. The vast majority of yearlings cataloged are California-bred, although there are Kentucky-breds, two Arizona-breds, and one Washington-bred on offer. The sale continues to turn out a high number of stakes-winning graduates, including Big City Lights, a graded stakes winner and five-time stakes winner. Other recent stakes-winning graduates include Old Pal, Pushiness, Santa Barbarian, and Sunset Grazen. "California Fall continues to produce quality runners on the West Coast year-after-year," Machowsky said. Print catalogs are now available.
