Scott Lishia, currently Director of Racing at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, has been named Director of Racing & Sportsbook for Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course pending customary regulatory approvals.

A native of Somerset County, Lishia's family has been involved in the horse racing industry for over 60 years, and he has worked as a racing official at numerous tracks over the past 30 years in Florida, New Jersey and Massachusetts. For over 12 years Lishia worked for the Maryland Jockey Club in several senior management positions, and mostly recently has directed The Meadows year-round harness racing operations since 2021.

"My family and I want to thank the management at Penn Entertainment and Hollywood Casino at Penn National for this incredible opportunity. Although I will deeply miss the Meadows and the people there, I look forward to working with the horsemen/women as well as the staff at Penn National to build on the solid foundation that Eric Johnston and his team have created and hopefully make a positive impact," Lishia said.

"I had the opportunity to work closely with Scott while I was Vice President/General Manager at The Meadows and I'm looking forward to Scott bringing his extensive racing and event experience to help lead our racing operations here at Penn National," said Tony Frabbiele, Vice President/General Manager at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.  In addition to his responsibilities overseeing the entire Penn National Race Course racing and pari-mutuel operations, Lishia will also manage the retail side of the property's sports wagering operation.

With Lishia's departure from The Meadows the application process for the Director of Racing position for that property will be announced shortly.
