Maryland's Northview Cutting Most '26 Stud Fees in Half
Northview Stallion Station announced Oct. 28 it was cutting in half the previously advertised stud fees for the six established stallions on its roster for the 2026 breeding season. "As regional markets continue to face financial headwinds, we at Northview Stallion Station understand the challenges breeders encounter when planning for the upcoming season. To help ease that burden, we are offering 50% reductions on stud fees for our established sires for the 2026 breeding year—while also welcoming an exciting new addition to our roster, Post Time, who will stand his first season at stud for $4,000 live foal," said general manager David Wade in a statement released Oct. 28. "This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the Mid-Atlantic breeding community and ensuring breeders have every opportunity to thrive. Our 2026 stallion roster features a powerful mix of proven sires and promising young stallions—each offering exceptional genetic value, performance potential, and now, unmatched value. Whether your goal is speed, stamina, or versatility, we're confident you'll find the ideal match for your mare among our lineup."
