The Aga Khan Studs have announced the 2026 fees for their roster of stallions in Ireland and France, headed by Sea The Stars, who will stand for a career-high fee of €300,000 (US$346,908), up from €250,000.
Sea The Stars finishes this year as the leading active Irish-based sire, with his three group 1 winners headed by Daryz, who followed in the footsteps of his sire to win the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1), and also including Aventure and Sosie.
The 19-year-old's group 1 performers include Grand Stars, Map of Stars, River of Stars, See The Fire, Sweet William, and The Lion In Winter.
His success extended to the sales ring, where his colt out of Crystal Zvezda sold for 3.7 million guineas (US$5,238,942), the highest price for a yearling worldwide in 2025.
As a broodmare sire, Sea The Stars added three more group 1 winners to his record, bringing his total to 10. His increasing influence in all spheres means he will command a career-best fee.
Siyouni will stand for €150,000 (down from €200,000 this year). The son of Pivotal continues to be a consistent source of classic winners, with his record of European Guineas winners unmatched by any other active stallion.
This year, his daughter Zarigana won the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (G1), while Flight finished runner-up in the One Thousand Guineas (G1). Siyouni's international success included United States grade 2 winner Bellezza and Neom Turf Cup (G2) winner Shin Emperor. His 2-year-old crop includes the group 1-placed Narissa.
Siyouni is also making his mark as both a sire of sires and a broodmare sire, being the paternal grandsire of Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) winner Diamond Necklace (by St Mark's Basilica) and maternal grandsire of Vincent O'Brien National Stakes (G1) winner Zavateri (out of Zeroua).
The exciting Zarak is responsible for 12 group 1 horses, with 2025 additions including grade 2 winner Laurelin, second in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes (G1T), and Campacite, runner-up in the Criterium International (G1).
Zarak achieved his highest yearling price this year when a filly out of Prudente fetched €1.1 million at the Arqana August Sale. This crop, who will be 2-year-olds next year, will be his first conceived at a fee of €60,000. Zarak remains at €80,000 for 2026.
This year saw the first foals arrive for European champion 3-year-old Vadeni and group 2-winning miler Erevann. Vadeni, winner of the 2022 Prix du Jockey Club (G1) and Eclipse Stakes (G1), will stand at €15,000 (down from €18,000 this year), while Erevann is unchanged at €8,000.
