O'Sullivan Farms announced Nov. 24 it will stand Curlin's Honor for the 2026 breeding season. He will stand for $2,000 with a live foal stands and nurses guarantee.
"The fastest son of Curlin—twice Horse of the Year and now an outstanding sire—Curlin's Honor owns multiple 6-furlong clockings of 1:08 and change, including a blistering 1:08.11," noted pedigree adviser Alan Porter. "A record-breaking $1.5 million 2-year-old in training purchase (Fasig-Tipton's 2017 Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale), he is from the fabulous Tartan Farm family of Cequillo, ancestress of Fappiano, Quiet American, and a total of 11 individual grade 1 sires."
Curlin's Honor won the Woodstock Stakes in 1:08.85. The internal fraction of 1:08.11 that Curlin's Honor ran in the Paradise Creek Stakes is faster than 2022-23 champion sprinter Elite Power 's best 6-furlong performance of 1:08.34 in the 2023 Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1).
He was competitive at the highest levels with placed finishes in the King Edward Stakes (G2T), Connaught Cup Stakes (G2T), Play the King Stakes (G2T), Jacques Cartier Stakes (G3), Bold Venture Stakes (G3), and Ontario Derby (G3). At 4, he defeated grade 1 winner Voodoo Song in the Artie Schiller Stakes.
As a freshman sire, Curlin's Honor has been represented by 15 winners, including FTBOA Florida Sire Desert Vixen Stakes winner R Morning Brew and stakes-placed Quizler, who was third in the Jersey Derby.
Lifetime breeding rights to Curlin's Honor are available.
