The Jockey Club of Canada announced Feb. 13 the finalists for the 2025 Sovereign Awards honoring Canada's champions and recognizing their outstanding achievements in Canadian Thoroughbred racing and breeding.
The winner of each category, along with Canada's Horse of the Year for 2025, will be announced during our 51st Annual Sovereign Award ceremony that will be held Thursday, April 23 at Paramount Eventspace in Woodbridge, Ontario.

The 2025 Media Sovereign Awards finalists and the winners of the Awards for Outstanding Groom, Outstanding Western Canadian Backstretch Worker, and Outstanding Off-track Worker will be announced in the coming days.
