A "capacity" Inglis Digital Australia April (Early) Online Sale catalog opened for bidding April 10 and features a plethora of racing and breeding opportunities. A total of 551 lots have been finalized for the sale, including 207 racehorses (89 race fillies), 186 broodmares, 76 racehorse shares, 49 yearlings, 21 weanlings, five 2-year-olds, four unbroken stock, two stallion shares, and one stallion.
Among the breeding highlights is the stakes-placed American mare April Vintage, an enticing three-in-one package. April Vintage, a daughter of Vino Rosso , is offered with a Justify filly at foot and in foal to Southport Tycoon.
Cool Passion—a three-time group 3 winner and group 1-placed mare herself—is the dam of last season's stakes-winning juvenile Prestige Forever, while Mahamaya is the dam of group 1 winner Antino and is offered with a Dundeel filly at foot.
There are two stallion shares in the catalog that will undoubtedly pique the interest of a broad section of buyers.
Jacquinot has the second-highest first-crop aggregate at yearling sales, behind only Anamoe, while Southport Tycoon is a dual group 1-winning son of Written Tycoon, just like champion first-season sire Ole Kirk.
