Tiffany Will Return to U.S. for Breeders' Cup

An arduous transatlantic trip has not put Sir Mark Prescott off heading back to the United States with Tiffany (IRE), with his lucrative money spinner in line for a tilt at the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1T) Oct. 31 at Keeneland. The Elite Racing Club-owned 6-year-old has taken her career to new heights in the last month, having broken her group 1 duck in the Grosser Preis von Berlin (G1) before taking the Kentucky Turf Cup Invitational Stakes (G2T) Sept. 5 at Kentucky Downs. Tiffany defied a difficult trip to the U.S. and back from Prescott's Newmarket yard, which included a fleeting visit to Scotland. Prescott said: "She was a bit battered from lots of long journeys. She went from Newmarket to Churchill Downs for quarantine, then off to Kentucky Downs. It was back to Churchill then to Glasgow Prestwick for the flight back, so it was an eight-hour box journey back to our yard. "When she got back on Sunday at 1 a.m., she looked tired, bless her. It was a long trip for the poor old girl, but we were very pleased with what she did. I thought Luke gave her a wonderful ride." A return to Kentucky—this time to Keeneland—is next on Tiffany's radar. Prescott is keen to tackle the Breeders' Cup Turf before she is offered at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale. Prescott said: "She's going to run at the Breeders' Cup and most likely in the Turf. She beat Ethical Diamond at Kentucky Downs, so she's entitled to run there. I'd have gone for the Japan Cup as well, but she sells the next day."
