Bright Light Among Latest Wildcards for Arqana Arc Sale
Grosser Preis von Berlin (G1) runner-up Bright Light (FR) is among 10 new wildcard entries joining the 33 lots already announced for Arqana's Arc Sale Oct. 3 at Saint-Cloud. Trained by Andreas Suborics, the 3-year-old City Light (FR) colt has been competitive at the highest level all year, running Tiffany (IRE) close at Hoppegarten and then finishing third to Saddadd (IRE) in the Grosser Preis von Baden (G1). He will be sold with an entry in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) the following day. There is a further Arc entry in the shape of Chestnut Rocket (FR), consigned by Alicja Karkosa. The 4-year-old Intello (GER) colt, who won the listed Prix Hubert Baguenault de Puchesse at Vichy in the summer, most recently finished runner-up in the Grand Prix de Deauville (G2). Miguel Blancpain will consign 2-year-old Big Jet Plane, who most recently finished runner-up in the listed Criterium de l'Ouest. Among other recent winners entered are Alem and Now for Glory, while the group-placed Aralia will join them. Must Bay, recently fourth in a listed race at Saint-Cloud, is another entry along with Prix de Guiche (G3) runner-up Lord Clover, Prix du Pin (G3) second How Are You, and Prix du Lys (G3) scorer Space Waltz, offered by Andre and Lavinia Fabre and entered in the Prix Chaudenay (G2) on the day of the sale.
