Maryland Million a Highlight for Racing on Radio, TV
With the 43rd Breeders' Cup World Championships less than two weeks away, this week's Thoroughbred racing coverage across all platforms will include news and segments on leading Breeders' Cup contenders training at the host site, Keeneland. As for live racing, the final four days of Keeneland's regular fall meet are set for this week, and one of Maryland's biggest days of racing is also on the schedule. Keeneland winds down its fall meet from Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Oct. 24, and all races will be broadcast live on FanDuel TV. On Sunday, Oct. 25, Churchill Downs starts its own fall meet, and those races will also air on FanDuel TV along with action from tracks including Santa Anita Park, Woodbine, and Gulfstream Park. Of particular importance is this year's Jim McKay Maryland Million Day at Laurel Park, held Saturday and featuring 12 Thoroughbred races. This racecard showcasing the Old Line State's horse industry will be broadcast on FanDuel TV as well. For livestream coverage, America's Best Racing presents "Maryland Million: Live On-Site at Laurel Park," covering the big Maryland Million card. The show will be hosted by ABR's Dan Tordjman along with Samantha Perry and feature special guests, with a focus on handicapping five races ending with the Maryland Million Classic. Presented by Brown Advisory, "Maryland Million: Live On-Site at Laurel Park" starts at 2:30 p.m. ET and ends after the Classic is run at approximately 5:15 p.m. It streams on ABR's Facebook, X, and YouTube channels. Four more "Today at Keeneland" preview shows are on tap this week, ending Saturday. Hosted by Gabby Gaudet and Scott Hazelton, "Today at Keeneland" starts at 11:30 a.m. ET and airs locally on the CW Lexington while also streaming on Keeneland's website, YouTube channel, WKYT.com, and several other outlets. Racing from Belmont Park including the New York Showcase card Saturday will be the focus of NYRA's "America's Day at the Races" airing on FOX Sports from Wednesday through Sunday. "America's Day at the Races" will also air two evening shows Friday and Saturday showing Breeders' Crown harness racing from Scioto Downs in Ohio. Check the below schedule for channels and times.
