Two are mares in foal to Drefong, the current leader of freshman sires in Japan, who has sired 10 winners on the Japan Racing Association circuit, including unbeaten Sapporo Nisai Stakes (G3) winner Geoglyph.
Hip 55, Close Friend, an 8-year-old South Vigorous mare in foal to the 2016 U.S. champion sprinter, is consigned by Shadai Farm. She is a granddaughter of Friendly Beauty, who finished second in the 1995 Alabama Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course. Hip 186, Rhiannon, a 7-year-old Stay Gold mare in foal to Drefong, is a half sister to Upperline, winner of three graded stakes in the U.S., including the 2012 Grey Goose Bewitch Stakes (G3T) at Keeneland.
Five mares offered are carrying foals by Mind Your Biscuits, a winner of three grade/group 1 races, including back-to-back victories in the Dubai Golden Shaheen Sponsored by Gulf News (G1) in 2017-18. His first crop are now yearlings.
The mares in foal to Mind Your Biscuits include Hip 158, Start Up, a 6-year-old Harbinger mare. She is consigned by Shadai Farm and closely related to Victoire Pisa, winner of two grade 1s in Japan plus the 2011 Dubai World Cup Sponsored by Emirates Airline (G1).
Hip 100, Beverage Queen, is an 11-year-old Indygo Shiner mare that is a half sister to Ria Antonia, winner of the 2013 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Beverage Queen was bought at the 2019 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale by J.S.Company from the Serendipity Farm consignment for $45,000. Consigned by Shirai Farm to J.S.Company's Broodmare Sale, she is in foal to Le Vent Se Leve, the busiest sire at Shadai Stallion Station in 2021 who covered 223 mares.
