Each year, the December Vente d'Élevage sees mares and fillies with exceptional pedigrees go under the hammer and have gone on to produce performers at the highest level. These include this season's group 1 winners FEED THE FLAME, SOL ORIENS, GOLD TRIP, INDIA, VIA SISTINA, SERIFOS, IRESINE, and TRUESHAN, all out of mares bought in December at Deauville, in addition to group scorers PROGNOSIS, OTTOMAN FLEET, MILITARY MISSION, ALCANTOR, HONG KONG HARRY, GLORIA MUNDI, LUMIERE ROCK, THE GOOD MAN, ANGERS, ROMAGNA MIA, AMAZING GRACE, SOPRAN BASILEA, GOLDANA, PROTAGONIST, WHITE MARLIN, NEW MANDATE, JUMBY, SEE HECTOR, LORD CHARMING and FANG.
Like each year, among the well-bred fillies and mares cataloged, a number are offered in foal to in-demand sires, which includes Blue Point, Camelot, Churchill, Cracksman, Dark Angel, Dubawi, Galiway, Havana Grey, Justify, Kingman, Lope de Vega, Mehmas, New Bay, Night of Thunder, No Nay Never, Sea The Moon, Siyouni, Starspangledbanner, Too Darn Hot, Wootton Bassett and Zarak, as well as the young stallions Alson, Baaeed, Bayside Boy, Blackbeard, Ebro River, Lavello, Marianafoot, Perfect Power, Sealiway, State of Rest, Texas, Thunder Moon and Torquator Tasso this December.
