Grade 1-winning millionaire and proven sire Creative Cause  will be standing at Marjorie Farms near Fredericksburg, Texas, starting in 2024, the farm announced Nov. 16.

Marjorie Farms bought the 14-year-old son of Giant's Causeway out of grade 1 winner Dream of Summer from Airdrie Stud in Kentucky, which launched the stallion's career in 2013. The stallion has been relocated and will stand next year for $6,000.

Bret Jones of Airdrie Stud said: "He has meant a lot to us over the years, and I am very thankful that he will be able to continue his career where he will get the mare support he deserves."

Marjorie Farms owners John and Elisabeth Hay said they could not pass up the opportunity to bring a sire whose progeny have earned more than $34.8 million to Texas.

"Texas and generally the Southwest are ready to take a big step forward and the addition of such an incredible stallion does just that," they said in a statement about their new acquisition.

"Creative Cause's runners are fast, durable, proven and precocious. We have to look no further than the win by his King Cause in the Texas Turf Classic this summer at Lone Star Park," added farm manager Bill Tracy. "Whether breeding in the Texas program or nationally, the success of his progeny speak for itself—his seven graded stakes winners, 24 black-type winners, and lifetime progeny earnings that dwarf that of any other stallion in the region."
