The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to award $5,000 to Amplify Horse Racing to be used for enhancing education.
Annise Montplaisir, Executive Director states, "Amplify Horse Racing is on a mission to serve as the national youth arm of the Thoroughbred industry, showcasing educational opportunities to youth and young adults through a variety of horse programs. Our signature initiative is our Mentorship Program, which would not be where it is today without the support of TERF. This program pairs young people who are interested in learning more about careers in racing with an industry professional mentor who can provide them individualized guidance on their journey."
Amplify Horse Racing's mission is to expand careers and education in the Thoroughbred industry. They do this by supporting and enhancing existing educational and engagement initiatives, while creating and developing new opportunities that lead them into the future. Amplify wants to open doors for anyone to be involved, welcoming all backgrounds, organizations, initiatives, riding disciplines, and age groups. Their goal is to generate positivity, share knowledge and experience, and to collaborate.
TERF's grants reflect the values set forth by founders Herb and Ellen Moelis.
