Arthur's Ride , impressive winner of the prestigious Whitney Stakes (G1) in 2024 and a physically striking gray or roan son of multiple leading sire Tapit , will stand the 2026 breeding season at Taylor Made Stallions, the farm announced Oct. 20. His stud fee will be $12,500, stands and nurses.

"Arthur's Ride is a horse we were very high on after his impressive back-to-back victories at Saratoga, including his win in the grade 1 Whitney, earning a 110 Beyer," said Travis White, vice president of Taylor Made Stallions. "The race prior to the Whitney, he ran a 111 Beyer and won by 12 3/4 lengths. He has an outstanding physical and was purchased by Donato Lanni, so we believe commercial breeders will love him."

Arthur's Ride's signature performance came in last year's $1 million Whitney at Saratoga Race Course, where he vanquished subsequent Eclipse Award champion older dirt male National Treasure  and seven other graded stakes winners in a scintillating stakes debut.

Using his speed—he was first or second at the second call in seven of 10 starts—Arthur's Ride established the lead soon after the start of the historic 1 1/8-mile fixture. Roused in the stretch, Arthur's Ride drew off powerfully to lead by as many as 5 lengths and powered home to win convincingly by 2 1/4 lengths, covering the distance in 1:48.54 and earning a 112 Equibase Speed Figure.

Prior to winning the Whitney, Arthur's Ride ran a 116 Equibase Speed Figure in a 12 3/4-length romp in a head-turning allowance optional claiming victory over 1 1/4 miles at Saratoga and earned a 107 ESF in a 7 1/2-length allowance optional claiming score at one mile at Gulfstream Park.

All told, Arthur's Ride banked $819,355 for owner Glassman Racing—Karl and Cathi Glassman—and he was trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott. Bred by Helen and Joseph Barbazon and Tapit Syndicate, Arthur's Ride sold to Donato Lanni, agent, for $250,000 from the Gainesway consignment at the 2021 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. He is produced from the Point Given mare Points of Grace, 2009 Sovereign Award champion grass mare and graded stakes winner of $502,353 during her accomplished racing career. Arthur's Ride is a half brother to 2016 Canadian champion 2-year-old filly and grade 1 winner Victory to Victory, who captured the 2016 Natalma Stakes (G1) at Woodbine.

"He's got the type of pedigree we look for," White said. "He is by a top sire, out of a champion, and is a half brother to a champion 2-year-old filly."
