Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) is proud to announce that Mindy Coleman has been named the recipient of the 2025 RTCA Community Service Award.

The RTCA Community Service Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to racetrack chaplaincy ministries and the broader horse racing community. It recognizes those who have generously given their time and energy to improve the welfare of others, celebrating their outstanding service and dedication to making the sport better for everyone involved.

Mindy Coleman is widely known for her role as counsel for the Jockeys' Guild and as a champion and voice for jockeys across the country. Yet her passion, service, and involvement in the horse racing industry extend far beyond that.

Mindy devotes considerable time to volunteering with organizations that are close to her heart and have a meaningful impact on the industry. Among these organizations are the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF), Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF), Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA), and, of course, the Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA). Since 2021, Mindy has also served on the selection committee for the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards (TIEA), presented by Godolphin. In addition, she is active in her local community, serving on the boards of Miss Rodeo Kentucky and the Lexington Children's Theatre. Mindy exemplifies a servant's heart and continues to make a difference in the lives of many. On behalf of the RTCA family, we are honored to recognize her with this award.

The RTCA Community Service Award presentation will take place at RTCA's Night of Faith, Hope, and Love event on Tuesday, October 28 during Breeders' Cup World Championships. RTCA welcomes everyone to attend this inspirational evening. Limited tickets are still available for event- details are listed below.
