Grade 1 winner Troubleshooting will look for this third consecutive win to end the 2025 season in the $300,000 Commonwealth Turf Stakes (G3T) Nov. 22 at Churchill Downs. He will take on 10 sophomore rivals in the 1 1/16-mile race.
Donamire Farm's homebred by Not This Time broke his maiden in April at Keeneland in a maiden special weight, and in his first try against graded stakes company proved victorious in the $1,994,300 Franklin-Simpson Stakes (G1T) at Kentucky Downs. He followed that with a win in the Bryan Station Stakes (G3T) Oct. 25 for trainer Gregory Foley.
Troubleshooting will take on Bryan Station third-place finisher Giocoso, owned by Rocker O Ranch, and King's Plate Stakes winner Mansetti, who most recently ran second in the Ontario Derby (G3) at Woodbine for Al and Bill Ulwelling and trainer Kevin Attard.
Also entered in the Commonwealth Turf is Godolphin's Chapman's Peak, who was an impressive allowance winner last out at Keeneland for trainer Brad Cox. The son of Quality Road is out of Godolphin's grade 1-winning mare Dickinson. Kentucky Derby (G1) participant Flying Mohawk will make his first start since the classic after undergoing colic surgery for owners Two Eight Racing, Berry Family Racing, and Kaleta Racing.
