Bidding opened April 3 for the Inglis Digital USA April Sale, featuring a diverse slate of offerings for buyers seeking a horse to race in the spring and summer or for those looking for a last-minute adjustment to their broodmare portfolio.
The online auction's catalog features 36 horses and stallion seasons, with bidding running through April 8. The first lot will close that day at 2 p.m. ET, and each successive offering will hammer in three-minute increments.
Once again, the Inglis Digital USA platform offers local options for buyers across North America and a global outlet for sellers, with horses available for inspection in Kentucky, California, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Arizona.
Highlighting the sale's offerings is a 75% share in the electrifying 3-year-old Shane's Wonder, who has won his two career starts by a combined 14 3/4 lengths.
The Pennsylvania-bred Eastwood gelding debuted Feb. 17 in a 6-furlong state-bred maiden special weight at Parx Racing, and he was never challenged, decimating the field to win by 11 1/2 lengths. He earned a 95 Equibase Speed Figure and a 75 Beyer Speed Figure for the effort, which is tied for the fifth-highest Beyer for a first-start Pennsylvania-bred maiden since January 2025.
Shane's Wonder has been just as impressive as he climbed the ladder, racing as a homebred for Uptowncharlybrown Stud. He followed up his maiden score by tackling open competition in a 6 1/2-furlong Parx allowance optional claiming race, where he once again got to the lead and repelled all challengers to draw clear by 3 1/4 lengths. The speed figures were once again strong, posting an 86 Beyer, a 93 ESF, a 10 1/4 Ragozin, a 4 1/2 with Thoro-Graph, and an 8 on Thoroughmanager.
Shane's Wonder is consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, and he is available for inspection in the barn of trainer Alfredo Velazquez at Parx.
The broodmare draft features Swift Applause, a Congrats mare offered in foal to the red-hot freshman sire Drain the Clock . Consigned by Vinery Sales, agent, Swift Applause is a half sister to grade 3-placed stakes winner Market Rumor, from a family with graded black type under each of the first three dams.
Swift Applause is available for inspection at Boone Farm near Lexington.
Other pregnant mares in the sale are offered in foal to American Theorem , Bee Jersey , Gato Del Oro, and Temple City.
The April catalog also features no guarantee seasons to Kentucky stallions Charge It , Dialed In , Fulsome , Modernist , Pappacap , Pinehurst , and Tacitus .
"We're really looking forward to this sale," said Inglis Digital USA CEO Kyle Wilson. "Shane's Wonder is going to create a lot of buzz but there's plenty to like in here. Drain the Clock is a big-time hype horse in Ocala and we've got Swift Applause in foal to him, Caraway is selling two racehorses that both just breezed bullets at The Thoroughbred Center, and we've got some no-guarantee seasons available for breeders that haven't found a stallion yet."
