The Kenny McPeek trainee, Chester Broman Sr.'s Right to Party, is a scratch from the May 2 Kentucky Derby (G1) at Churchill Downs. Doug O'Neill's Robusta, who was second to Potente in the San Felipe Stakes (G2), draws into the field. Robusta, a homebred for Calumet Farm, will be ridden by Cristian Torres, as his original rider, Emisael Jaramillo, is committed to mounts at Santa Anita Park on Saturday.

Horses preparing for the Oaks, Kentucky Derby (G1), and other Derby week races are under close regulatory veterinarian scrutiny, undergoing examinations and, at times, diagnostic tests.

Silent Tactic and Fulleffort were earlier scratches in the lead-up to the Derby, withdrawals that opened spots for also-eligibles Great White and Ocelli to draw into the race.

In a scratch announced May 1, Icon Racing's Nycon, trained by Whit Beckman, will be scratched from the Kentucky Oaks (G1). Her defection leaves a field of 13 in the Oaks.
