Delaware Park has cancelled the live racing card scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, due to the extreme heat watch advisory for the area. Live racing is scheduled to resume Thursday, July 16.
The National Weather Service is calling for a high of 102 degrees Fahrenheit with heat indexes up to 106 degrees.
The four weather-related cancellations this live racing season have been rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16; Wednesday, Sept. 23; Wednesday, Sept. 30; and Wednesday, Oct. 7.
