Del Mar to Host 14th Annual Jockey Karaoke Event

The July 26 charity fundraiser is for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

The popular Jockey Karaoke competition in Del Mar returns for the 14th year to the Belly Up Tavern on Sunday, July 26th. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the Karaoke competition gets underway at 8:00 pm.

The $75 General admission tickets include one drink coupon. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $175, which includes open reserved seats, two drink coupons, and a buffet dinner.

Tickets are on sale now at the Del Mar Jockey Karaoke's website: https://2026delmarkaraoke.cbo.io.

"While this event features current and former jockeys as well as PDJF recipients taking the stage, Jockey Karaoke truly showcases the support of the entire racing community," said Joe Clabes, President of the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. "PDJF is the only organization providing ongoing monthly financial assistance to fallen jockeys. The incredible support at Jockey Karaoke continues to grow each year helping us fulfill our mission."

The evening will also feature live and silent auction. The silent auction is open online, allowing anyone to participate regardless of whether they attend the event. New items will continue to be added through auction day. Bidding is now open at https://cbo.io/app/public/bidapp/2026delmarkaraoke/auction.

Competition for top honors is always fierce, with jockeys vying for both the Judges' Choice Award and the People's Choice Award. A panel of celebrity judges will select the Judges' Choice Award winner, while the audience determines the People's Choice Award by making donations to PDJF through tip jars passed after each performance.

PDJF would like to extend special thanks to our sponsors, Jay Em Ess Stables and Samantha Siegel, Dutch Girl Holdings Racing, Surfside, The Jockey's Guild, and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact the PDJF by email (events@pdjf.org) or call (630) 595-7660.

The Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to providing financial assistance to jockeys who suffered catastrophic on-track injuries resulting in permanent disabilities. Since its inception in 2006, the PDJF has disbursed over $15 million and currently provides monthly benefits to 50 permanently disabled jockeys. The Fund is a cooperative effort among racetracks, jockeys, horsemen, owners, and racing fans. www.pdjf.org
