Heartwood Farm kept the Into Mischief express rolling after it sold a full brother to multiple graded stakes winner Barnes for $4.2 million early in the Aug. 11 second session of Fasig-Tipton's The Saratoga Sale.
Flying Dutchmen bought Hip 136, a bay colt bred by Jeff Drown and Don Rachel out of the American Pharoah mare All American Dream. The mare is the dam of grade 1-placed, multiple graded stakes winner Barnes, who sold for $3.2 million during the 2023 edition the Saratoga sale. Barnes was campaigned by Zedan Racing Stables and entered stud this year at Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa.
Early in the session, two other Into Mischief yearling sold for a combined $4.1 million.
