Some early pictures of the daughter of Australia's great champion Winx have been released by Coolmore Australia and her ownership group.
The daughter of Too Darn Hot was born early last week at Coolmore's Hunter Valley and she has already been exploring her new home.
She is the third live foal by Winx in what has been an at-times turbulent broodmare career which has accordingly been managed with caution. She lost her first foal by I Am Invincible in 2020 while her second, a Pierro filly born in 2022, broke records when Winx's part-owner Debbie Kepitis went to AU$10 million at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in order to hold on to her.
Later named Quinceanera, she never raced and was retired this year. Winx has a 2-year-old colt by Snitzel, who was withdrawn from this year's Inglis sale.
Winx is one of Australia's most celebrated racehorses after her astonishing 33-race winning streak in Australia, which included 25 group 1s, which included four consecutive wins in the Cox Plate (G1). She now resides at Coolmore in the Hunter Valley.
