Tampa Bay Downs has announced revisions to its 2026-27 stakes schedule, highlighted by the addition of the Tampa Bay Stakes (G3T) and the Endeavour Stakes (G3T) to Festival Preview day Feb. 6. They had been scheduled for Jan. 30 when the stakes schedule was announced in early September.
Moving the two graded stakes races to Festival Preview day strengthens the lineup, which already features the Suncoast Stakes, the Sam F. Davis Stakes, the Pelican Stakes, and the Minaret Stakes.
"After closer examination of the national stakes calendar, we saw an opportunity to enhance the prestige of Festival Preview day with the addition of the Endeavour Stakes and the Tampa Bay Stakes," Tampa Bay Downs general manager Peter Berube said.
The Tampa Bay Stakes, for 4-year-olds and upward on the turf, and the Endeavour Stakes, for fillies and mares 4-years-old and upward on the turf, each carry a guaranteed purse of $175,000.
The revised stakes schedule continues to feature a strong lineup of racing throughout the 2026-27 meet, including Festival day March 6, highlighted by the $500,000 Tampa Bay Derby (G3), and Florida Cup day March 28.
