Fasig-Tipton announced May 11 the following changes to the Midlantic May 2-Year-Olds in Training under-tack show: In order to provide the safest, most consistent, and fairest racetrack for all participants, the under-tack show will be held May 12-13, with sessions beginning daily at 8 a.m. ET.
According to the National Weather Service, the Timonium, Md. area is expected to receive rain showers and thunderstorms starting on Wednesday afternoon, and continuing through the evening.
Hips 1-300 will now preview May 12. Hips 301-619 will preview May 13. Set lists will be posted online.
Fasig-Tipton is closely monitoring the weather forecast and will adjust the schedule if necessary based on conditions and will communicate any additional changes as soon as a determination is made.
